Should we switch off gas? - In running GEA's Opinion Editorial head-to-head with the Grattan Institute, the Herald Sun exposes the failure to recognise LPGs transition to zero emitting gas - beginning in the next few years and replacing all conventional LPG by 2045. Grattan assumes business as usual, despite conceding LPG has a clear path to decarbonise. They fail to account for zero emitting gas, for households to save on massive switching to electricity costs and that ongoing use of (zero) LPG is more reliable while taking pressure off an increasingly overburdened electricity grid...
