Supagas increases stake in GEA
18 March 2024

We welcome long-standing Member Supagas' decision to upgrade its membership of GEA from Advisory Council Level 3 to Advisory Council Level 1.
This is an important and timely recommitment to the future of LPG in Australia. We also appreciate this tangible recognition of the work and strategic focus of GEA.
It comes at a vital time for the LPG sector in Australia as it transitions to a net zero future. Supagas' commitment to the Association stands GEA in good stead for the next 12 months and beyond in meeting existing and emerging political, policy and public positioning challenges.
Supagas Managing Director Erol Arican also takes up a vacancy on the GEA Board, with all Board positions being up for election in the lead up to the GEA AGM in August.
GEA looks forward to continuing our relationship with Supgas, as well as all Members and Associates, to see the LPG sector recognised as part of the solution to Australia's future energy mix.
